Mr. Preetham Krishna is a research intern at the Centre for National Security Studies (CNSS) under the India Strategic Studies Programme (ISSP). he is currently pursuing his Master’s in Geopolitics and International Relations at Manipal Academy for Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka (MAHE). At CNSS, his research focuses on India’s role as the Net Security Provider in the Western Indian Ocean Region, analysing the maritime engagements with Small Island Developing States, HADR, the shift from SAGAR to MAHASAGAR, and Maritime Terrorism. He has also authored a book review on ISIS: A State of Terror by Jessica Stern & JM Berger.
