Dual Use Technology Innovation & Creation Programme
Fostering innovation for strategic and civilian impact
India is striving to achieve self-sufficiency in defence technologies through the ambitious Atmanirbhar Bharat programme. This initiative aims to reduce dependency on foreign technology and bolster national security. The Centre for National Security Studies (CNSS) is spearheading efforts to integrate the capabilities of the armed forces, academia, industry, and investors to foster innovation in dual use technologies.
The programme leverages the expertise of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, including the Ramaiah Techno Centre, Ramaiah Technology Business Incubator (RTBI), and Valdel Advanced Technologies. By harnessing these resources, CNSS aims to create a robust ecosystem for technology innovation and development in the region.
