Greetings from Centre for National Security Studies!

At M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), a pioneering fourth-generation university, we are committed to integrating academia, industry, government, and entrepreneurship to drive national development. A significant step in this direction was the establishment of the Centre for National Security Studies (CNSS), on 1st July 2023 under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) of the Indian Army.

The CNSS is designed to address the full spectrum of Comprehensive National Power, conducting in-depth research and analysis across both traditional and non-traditional security domains. To this end, we have launched four key programs:

The Centre is guided by a distinguished Board of Advisors, along with Distinguished Fellows and Scholars who are leaders in their respective fields. Under their mentorship, CNSS has hosted numerous workshops, roundtable discussions, guest lectures, and seminars on critical issues such as geopolitics, climate security, cyber security, cryptography, etc

Gen.Prasad

.

We are proud to collaborate with several renowned national and international think tanks and experts, enhancing the depth and impact of our initiatives. CNSS also runs a dynamic internship program, supporting a growing number of interns each year and nurturing the next generation of security and policy professionals.

Currently, the Centre is preparing to publish the inaugural issue of the CNSS Journal on Security Studies, a quarterly publication dedicated to advancing discourse in national and international security.

As India stands on the cusp of becoming a global economic and technological powerhouse, we reaffirm our commitment to shaping policies and fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that unites the efforts of academia, industry, government, and venture capital.

In the coming year, our focus will be on catalysing this ecosystem to play a lead role in research and analysis as India emerges as a regional and global leader in security, innovation, and strategic influence.

We invite scholars, professionals, and institutions to join us in this vital national endeavour.
