Dr. Abhinava Pandya

Dr. Abhinav Pandya is a policy analyst and author with expertise in counterterrorism, Indian foreign policy, and Afghanistan-Pakistan geopolitics. A Cornell University graduate in public affairs and an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, he earned his PhD from the Jindal School of International Affairs. He is the founder, Director, and CEO of Usanas Foundation, an India-based foreign policy think tank, where he has organized three editions of the Maharana Pratap Annual Geopolitics Dialogue. Dr. Pandya has authored three books, including Inside the Terrifying World of Jaish-e-Mohammed (2024) and Terror Financing in Kashmir (2023). His writings appear in global and Indian platforms such as The National Interest, Haaretz, ORF, VIF, and Strategic Analysis (IDSA). He has delivered lectures at major international forums including NATO, the Baltic Defence College, and the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, and is affiliated with the Harvard Project on Trans-Caucasus. Dr. Pandya has also advised the former Governor of Jammu & Kashmir on security during the abrogation of Article 370. His views have been featured by outlets like the New York Times, Carnegie, and Russia Today, making him a respected voice in strategic and intelligence studies.
