Dr Divya Malhotra

Divya holds a PhD in International relations from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Her areas of interest include soft power and geo economics of Middle East and South Asia with a focus on Israel-Iran conflict and Af-Pak region. She completed her MPhil from Centre for West Asian Studies at JNU, MA Applied Economics from Christ University, Bengaluru and BA Economics Hons from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
She is an adjunct faculty with Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Previously, she has been associated with National Security Council’s Advisory Board (NSAB) and Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis (MP-IDSA) as a researcher. She also worked with School of Internal Security, Rashtriya Raksha University (Ministry of Home Affairs) Gujarat as Assistant Professor and Assistant Director. She has presented her research work at international conferences in various countries including USA, Russia, Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan and frequently writes for reputed national and international journals and newspapers.
