Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Raina, the Vice Chancellor of MSRUAS since April 2021, is a renowned leader in the field of technical sciences. Before joining MSRUAS, he served as Vice Chancellor at DIT University, Dehradun, for over 6 years and contributed significantly to Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, for about 28 years.
Dr. Raina’s impressive educational journey includes M.Sc. and Ph.D in Solid State Materials, followed by post-doctorate research at the University of Manchester (UK). His dedication to teaching and research has garnered recognition through awards and fellowships both nationally and internationally. His research accomplishments are well-documented with over 250 research papers in esteemed International journals and approximately 60 invited lectures in international conferences. His establishment of Materials Research Laboratory at Thapar University demonstrates his commitment to expanding research horizons.
Dr. Raina’s impact extends globally through his collaborations with prestigious institutions like Ludwig Maximilians University at Munich (Germany), University of Bordeaux (France), and more. His works in opto-electronic properties and ferroelectric materials have been well-received, earning him accolades and recognition.
