Dr. Nithyanandanam

Dr. Nithiyanandam is Professor and Head of the Geospatial Research Program at the Takshashila Institution and a leading expert in geospatial intelligence. He is the lead author of the Takshashila Geospatial Bulletin, known for its research-driven insights. His expertise spans remote sensing, image processing, GIS analytics, urban and ocean informatics, and geospatial policy. An alumnus of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he was awarded the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. He has developed geospatial programs at top Indian universities and collaborated with global institutions. His work has significantly advanced geospatial research and education in India. Dr. Nithiyanandam is widely recognized for bridging academic research with policy relevance. His contributions continue to shape India’s geospatial intelligence landscape.
