Dr. Swetha Raghavan is a Project Scientist at NCBS-TIFR and Project Coordinator for the BIG-19th call awardee at C-CAMP. With 15+ years of experience, she specializes in cancer biology, molecular oncology, and translational research. Her PhD from IIT Madras focused on the transcriptional regulation of Pak1 kinase, relevant to breast cancer. She has held postdoctoral positions at NCBS and contributed to drug discovery through bioinformatics roles. Dr. Raghavan is also involved in mentoring biotech startups under the BIRAC-BIG grant. A former lecturer at Mount Carmel College, she has qualified national exams like CSIR-UGC NET and GATE. Her work is published in journals like PLoS ONE, focusing on tumor biology and microenvironments.
