Path to Encryption Specialist

November 19 @ 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
₹ 750
The Centre for National Security Studies in collaboration with C.R. Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science is organising a one-day workshop on ‘Path to Encryption Specialist’
Recent initiatives by the Indian Defence Forces and Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) have placed exceptional emphasis on quantum technologies, including Quantum Positioning Systems, Quantum Key Distribution, quantum sensors, and post-quantum cryptography migration. The Defence India Startup Challenge and ADITI programme have released challenging problem statements in these domains, calling for innovative and research-driven solutions.
This workshop provides an ideal platform to engage directly with these national priorities, offering insights into both foundational theory and practical migration strategies.
Highlights:
  • Overview of classical and modern cryptography
  • Analysis of quantum computing threats to cryptographic systems
  • Introduction to post-quantum cryptography (PQC), standards, and implementation strategies
  • Migration challenges and applied solutions in PQC
  • Discussion of live quantum technology problem statements released by Indian defence agencies
The workshop is open to students, professionals, researchers and faculty. This will also pave way for internship and project opportunities in defence problem statements with the institute.
