Mr. Utkarsh Verma

Utkarsh Verma is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the International Doctorate in Asia-Pacific Studies (IDAS) at National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taiwan. His research interests lie in Comparative Security Studies and the comparative role of states in industrial promotion, with a particular focus on the Indo-Pacific region. Prior to his doctoral studies, Utkarsh worked as the Social Media Manager at NCCU’s Office of International Cooperation, where he contributed to international engagement and communication strategy. His academic work reflects a strong interdisciplinary approach, combining elements of strategic studies, international relations, and economic policy. Utkarsh is deeply committed to advancing scholarship in regional security and development. He is grateful for the opportunity to be part of a vibrant academic community and looks forward to contributing meaningfully through research, collaboration, and outreach.
