Ms. Geeta Varadan

Fellow of IETE, she was formerly Director, Advanced Data Processing Research Institute (ADRIN) at Hyderabad, and Programme Director (Special Projects) ISRO HQ, Bengaluru. She is a technocrat with a career of over 39 years in the application of space technology to meet the security needs of the country in the areas of communications and remote sensing. She is the first woman in ISRO to become a Director of an ISRO Centre. Prior to ISRO, she was with DRDO. She has authored and co-authored over 35 publications.
